For centuries, Balinese fishermen lived peacefully from the sea, passing down traditions from generation to generation. But today, our reality has changed drastically. Due to climate change, pollution, rising fuel costs, and fewer fish in the ocean, the economy and life of traditional fishermen in Bali are declining fast. 📉⛈️🐟❌
What used to be a stable, honorable job that fed the whole family, now requires working 12–16 hours, sailing far out into dangerous open sea, often earning barely enough for daily food. Many young fishermen are forced to leave the sea to find other work, risking the loss of our culture forever. 🧑💼🚫🛶
But we fight to keep our heritage alive. ✊🌊🧡
